The opportunity
Vanguard Management Solutions, Inc. (VMGTS) is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to improve business processes and support financial and budgeting applications. This role designs, develops, and maintains Power BI reporting, Power Apps applications, and Power Automate workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver useful insights.
- Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
- Develop custom business applications using Power Apps and integrate them with relevant data sources and services.
- Apply sound application design and usability practices.
- Create, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Power Automate workflows.
- Integrate workflows with Power Apps and Power BI to support business processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Train and support users of Power Platform tools and applications.
- Stay current with relevant Power Platform capabilities and updates.
- Document technical designs, processes, and user guidance.
- Follow data governance and security policies.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience developing solutions with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or related areas.
Experience with AI Builder and other AI integrations within Power Platform.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for advanced customization.
